During this presentation, Dr. Tammy Schultz will examine and engage in a biblical trauma narrative to understand some of the common corrosive effects of sexual violence and consider challenging questions regarding how growth can occur in the wake of egregious suffering. She will discuss ways ministry leaders and therapists can discuss biblical trauma narratives in faith communities to foster new ministry patterns that promote healing.
