About This Session

Explore how cultivating resiliency, agency, and equanimity can help us cope with stress, overcome obstacles, and live a more fulfilling life.

Trauma seems to rob us of many things. Resiliency, agency, and equanimity are three essential qualities that help us navigate life’s challenges that are often obstructed as a result of trauma. Resiliency allows us to bounce back from setbacks, agency empowers us to take control of our lives and make meaningful choices, and equanimity enables us to stay calm and centered in the face of adversity. In this session, we will explore how cultivating these qualities can help us cope with stress, overcome obstacles, and live a more fulfilling life.

"Really great course. Gave me a lot to think about introspectively and in regards to my clients. I feel like this information can be really empowering for the survivors I work with as well as for myself as an abuse survivor. It is so important for us to learn how to take back some power from the negative thoughts that can intrude on us after trauma."
