Join Stacey as she shares the two truths and a lie that set her on a course towards healing and hope.

Stacey Gagnon never thought she would learn about true vulnerability from the most hardened and criminal of society. She never believed that she could find freedom from within a prison. But here Stacey is, having been set free from the shackles of lies that she has worn across the years; kept hidden from those around her. They say, “the greatest source of our suffering are the lies we tell ourselves.” Inmates understand the power of lies, and they have the ability to see through them with incredible insight.

About Your Instructor

Stacey Gagnon is a foster mom, adoptive mom, blogger, educator, published children’s book author, a registered nurse, and an international speaker. She writes the popular blog on adoption and foster care at ransomforisrael.com​. Stacey and her husband Darren founded Lost Sparrows, Inc in 2016 to alleviate the flow of children into orphanages in Eastern Europe. She also began a program to help first responders communicate with schools when children are involved with the police called Trauma Lens Care. She has traveled across the US and Europe speaking and training on the effects of trauma on children and advocating for special needs children.
