About This Session

Explore where maladaptive behaviors come from and how best to handle them within the home or classroom.

When we work with children from hard places, we will often see them act out in maladaptive behaviors. This class will explore where some of these behaviors come from and how best to handle them within the home or classroom. Let’s stay open and curious to what lies beneath behavior and most importantly of all, ensure children are not punished for a failed attempt to communicate just how very much they have already been punished by life. Aimed at parents and professionals alike, we will be looking beneath surface behaviors to find the root cause.
