About This Session

Explore various strategies for helping students and educators develop resiliency.

Why are educators having so many issues in their classrooms with student behavior, negativity, and poor learning? In this course, we will look at the impact of trauma and adversity in the lives of our students, and how those experiences shape their daily lives in the school building. We will discuss how the myriad of student behaviors in the classroom are too often born in survival skills driven by fear.

"This info and all the books shared will help me with many current students and students to come. I'm a brand new teacher and learned a lot!"
